Bug Fix and Future Plans


Bug Fix:

  • Removed Camera Bobbing
    - Camera goes crazy when bobbing isn't finished and you access inventory
  • Enemy damage values reduced
    - For demonstration purposes
  • Quality of Life
    - Fixed UI bugs
  • Future Suggestions for Game Improvement:
    - Improve game design!
    - Increase pitchfork/slingshot damage depending whether the tree is growing properly.
    - Items that improve player's mobility and skills or something.
    - Replace the enemies to animals; porcupine, giant ant, and centipede from the original idea (got scrapped cause we don't have a 3d modeler or 3d animators).
    - Add a boss and increase enemy when a wave is over
  • Improve AI navigation.
  • Player Air level: 
    - When the player is within the Tree's influence, the player will replenish air.
    - When the player is far from Tree's influence, the player will slowly reduce air and suffocate.
    Basically like water logic.
  • Player Dies or Tree dies:
    - Game over.
  • Tree optimization (though I myself have the plan for optimizing it)

Future Development Plan:

Probably none since this is a game project for our school's finals.

Though maybe one of my groupmates might take this game and develop it in the future.
